Caroline Cason currently serves as the Communications Training Coordinator, helping facilitate trainings related to public speaking, debate, and speech writing.

Before her full-time employment with LI, Caroline was a Development Intern for the Leadership Institute during the summer of 2021. Her tasks involved fulfilling donor requests, cultivating relationships, and direct-mail projects.

Caroline first became involved in politics in 2019, when she founded a student group on her college campus. In 2020 she was hired as a turf coordinator for the Trump Campaign and later interned for Congresswoman Virginia Foxx. After graduating from Appalachian State University in the fall of 2022, she moved to Arlington, VA to pursue her job with Leadership Institute.

While pursuing her degree in business marketing & sales, Caroline was involved in College Republicans, Turning Point USA, Students for Life, Young Women for America, and the Susan B. Anthony List.  

Caroline is originally from the mountains of North Carolina and grew up on her family’s farm. She is the youngest of three military brothers and enjoys reading, playing volleyball, riding horses, and exploring new places.
