In 2013, Nevada Lt. Governor Brian Krolicki named Jones his Chief of Staff. In this capacity, Jones oversaw the day-to-day operations of the office along with providing counsel on important issues facing the state of Nevada.
After Nevada’s 2013 Legislative Session, Jones was recruited by Alaska’s Lt. Governor Mead Treadwell to direct his campaign for the United States Senate, a seat needed by Republicans to recapture control of the United State Senate.
