Karla Kraynak Bruno is a former English teacher and librarian, with over 20 years as an educator and researcher to her credit.  She is a published author of historical fiction and a frequent guest columnist for two regional Virginia newspapers.

Ms. Bruno holds a B.A. in English and an M.A.Ed in Secondary English Education from The College of William and Mary, as well as a Master’s in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University of America.  A life-long lover of liberty and conservative values, she is active in higher education reform and presidential politics.
