David Hempel
Controller
David grew up in southern New Jersey and during high school and college, volunteered with a number of political campaigns. He came to Virginia in 2003 to attend college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Government. Earlier in 2006, he interned with the Leadership Institute after attending two LI trainings. After graduation, he returned to the Institute as a full-time staff member.
