Mary Elizabeth Lewis

Mary Elizabeth (Emmy) Lewis is a nationally recognized expert in direct mail fundraising and major donor-membership programs. She is President of Lewis & Company Marketing Communications, Inc., a full service agency established in 1983, which specializes in fundraising, membership development, and communications strategic planning.

Starting in 1976, before Reagan ran for President, and well into his second term for office, Emmy wrote highly successful fundraising letters signed by Ronald Reagan on behalf of the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

In fact, Emmy was the "voice of Ronald Reagan" in national Republican direct mail copy.

She is one of the top copywriters and direct response fundraising experts in the business, and has developed many innovative mailing concepts still used today in the political direct mail arena.
