David Dziok

David Dziok is a Senior Account Supervisor for Edelman’s Technology and Policy practice in Washington, D.C. He brings unique political communications and government experience through an established record of traditional and digital media success at the local, state and national levels. 

Prior to joining Edelman in August 2010, David worked on Capitol Hill and served as the Communications Director for U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann. The official spokesman for the office, he crafted messages and provided strategic counsel and communications strategy on a multitude of issues. David managed an extensive press operation involving multiple staffers that focused on the implementation of digital technologies combined with traditional public relations strategies, establishing his boss as one of the most prominent politicians in the country.

David has also held strategic communications positions in political campaigns across the U.S., from local state senate races in Virginia, to a congressional race spanning the state of North Dakota. He also gained hands-on experience in developing grassroots campaigns in his role as Political Director of a statewide political action committee, the Virginia Conservative Action PAC.
 
A Rhode Island native, David received bachelor’s degrees in both Political Science and Public Administration from Elon University in North Carolina. He now resides in Falls Church, Virginia.
