Michael Bayes is an attorney with HoltzmanVogel PLLC, with a primary focus on campaign finance and election law, lobbying and ethics compliance, and tax-exempt organizations.
Before joining HoltzmanVogel PLLC, Michael served as Counsel and Executive Assistant to a Commissioner on the Federal Election Commission, working extensively on all aspects of the enforcement of federal campaign finance law. Prior to his time at the F.E.C., he served as Deputy Counsel at the Republican National Committee where he advised primarily on federal and state election law, contracting and intellectual property matters.
Michael received a J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
He is resident in the Virginia office and a member of the Bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Michael is also a member of the Republican National Lawyers Association.
