Garrett Bewkes -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

E. Garrett Bewkes IV is the 6th Publisher of National Review, a conservative political opinion journal 62 years in the making. Garrett came to National Review from the New York Post Digital Network where he served as the Senior Manager of Digital Strategy & Account Management. His experience directly compliments the focus on going “digital first”, specifically increasing traffic, awareness & revenue of storied print brands in the news and political verticals.

While at the New York Post, Garrett and his team managed to increase site traffic from 6.8MM to 32.2MM uniques.  As a part of the revenue operations team, Garrett oversaw advertising sales initiatives and pricing, while also advising on two new website launches, the founding of an in-house creative advertising agency, and the marketing for the launch of a TV show for their PageSix vertical, currently on FOX.

Garrett holds a BA from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, as well as a Certificate in Applied Politics from the Graduate Gateway Program at American University in Washington, D.C.
