A political reporter for Yahoo! News, Chris Moody was previously the manager of new media at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank in Washington, DC. Moody is also and an independent writer, blogger and editor. His writing has been published by media outlets owned by Scripps-Howard News Service, Cox Communications and Post-Newsweek and he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University. Before arriving in Washington, he travelled to more than 20 countries on three continents and spent five months on a commercial fishing in crew off the south coast of Alaska. He currently lives in Washington DC.
