Amanda Dehn Bowman is a Political Training Coordinator at The Leadership Institute (LI) in Arlington, VA.  LI is a national conservative training organization that recruits, trains, and places conservatives in public policy positions. Specifically, she is responsible for coordinating the fundraising schools offered by the Political Training Department.

Before joining LI, Bowman worked at the National Taxpayers Union and Foundation, the nation’s largest and oldest pro-taxpayer citizen group. While at NTU, she worked in the Development Department where she was responsible for maintaining and cultivating relationships with high dollar individual and foundation donors. In addition, she planned events held by NTU and NTU Foundation, including the 2009 National Taxpayers Conference.

Bowman is a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University where she received a BA in Political Science. Following graduation, she served as a Staff Assistant on Ken Blackwell’s gubernatorial campaign.  She also worked for the Ohio Federation of Republican Women and on various local campaigns.
