Jacquelyn Monaghan

Jacqueline Monaghan is a Development Assistant with Major Gift Operations at The Heritage Foundation. She is responsible for communicating The Heritage Foundation’s mission and effectiveness to its members.

Jacquelyn oversees the writing, editing, and mailing of all thank you letters to major gift level donors, charitable foundations, and corporations. She coordinates the production of donor recognition projects, such as annual reports for endowed rooms, sponsored interns, and distinguished fellows. Jacquelyn provides support for the major gifts team by drafting and editing proposals as well as tracking funded projects and designated gifts. She also coordinates the mailing of Heritage’s template based thank you letters and proposals with outside vendors and contract writers to maximize the efficiency and capabilities of Major Gift Operations. Previously, Jacquelyn interned in Heritage’s Direct Marketing Office.

Before joining Heritage, she interned with the Development Department at the American Legislative Exchange Council as well as participated in the Charles G. Koch Institute Internship Program. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and History with a minor in International Relations from the University of Rochester. While there, she was president of the College Republicans as well as fundraising chair and Varsity member of the University of Rochester Women’s Crew Team. Originally from La Plata, Maryland she now resides in Washington, D.C.
