Ryan Young is the current Legislative Director for Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17). Prior to returning to Washington, he lived in Texas and served as Deputy Director for Grassroots Operations for Americans for Prosperity-Texas where he managed a staff of grassroots directors state-wide. In 2018, he served as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Congressman Pete Sessions where he worked with grassroots activists across North Texas. Ryan’s experience also includes serving as the Director of Special Projects at the Leadership Institute, Youth Coordinator for Ed Gillespie’s 2014 Senate race, and working with three other U.S. House of Representatives Members. Prior to that, he practiced law in Charleston, SC.
