Originally from Michigan, Mary Neven Brockway graduated this past May from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in Human Life Studies. During her undergrad, Mary Neven attended the 56th Session on the Commission of the Status of Women at the United Nations as a delegate for the International Solidarity and Human Rights Institute, which sparked her primary interests in human life and human rights issues.
After graduating, Mary Neven furthered her studies at the National Right to Life Academy, an intense five-week written and oral study program on human life issues. While at the Academy, she attended a lecture by the Leadership Institute, and transitioned into the political world during a fall internship within LI’s Youth Leadership School Department.
She is now the Executive Assistant for the Executive Director at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a non-profit law firm in Georgetown.
Mary Neven’s interests include distance running, reading anything by Michael O’Brien, and a love of Mumford and Sons.
She hopes to further her academic career with a masters in Philosophy and Bioethics.
