Lee Doren -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Lee Doren is the Director of Research and Outreach at CRAFT | Media/Digital.

Lee specializes in public policy research and analysis. He also focuses on online issue advocacy, which includes reaching out to reporters and activists on behalf of clients.

Lee received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the District of Columbia. He previously worked at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and he is the author of Please Enroll Responsibly.

Aside from Lee’s research background, he is an expert on YouTube and online marketing. In December 2008, Lee launched the YouTube channel, “HowTheWorldWorks,” which has since become one of the largest “News and Politics” channels on YouTube.

Lee has a passion for public speaking, being the youngest speaker to lecture for the Ronald Reagan Political Lecture Series at Oberlin College. He has given speeches in Annapolis, Maryland on the Bill of Rights and at the Capitol for the 9/12 March on Washington. He has been invited to lecture at The Cato Institute, The Institute for Energy Research, the Young Britons’ Foundation in the United Kingdom, the State Policy Network and Lehigh University. He has also provided commentary for Fox News, CNN, Reuters, PBS and Air America.
