While in college, she interned for Florida State Representative Clay Ingram’s district office where she assisted with building databases, researching policy issues and contacting area businesses and residents. In 2011, Brittany attended Florida’s Presidency 5/ FL CPAC, serving as a delegate for Escambia County, Florida. Brittany’s political experience on campaigns goes back to the 2008 Presidential Election, where she worked in Madison County Florida with the local Republican Executive Committee to elect John McCain. She then started as a volunteer and then was hired by the Rick Scott gubernatorial campaign in 2010.  Brittany then interned with the Leadership Institute in the Youth Leadership School Department in Arlington, VA form January 2012-April 2012.

Upon returning to Florida, she began volunteering with the Republican Party of Florida in the 2012 Romney Victory Office and was quickly picked up by State Representative Clay Ford's re-election campaign for Florida House District 2, as his campaign manager, June 2012-August 2012.  On September 1, 2012, Brittany was hired by the Florida House of Representatives as the Legislative Assistant for Representative Ford and traveled between the district and Tallahassee to develop, construct, and pass legislation.  Due to the untimely death of Representative Ford, a special election took place for House District 2.  When Representative Mike Hill won the election in June 2013, Brittany was hired as the District Assistant.  She continues to work on legislation and travel between the district and the capitol. She has also acquired the responsibilities of office manager, office accountant, and constituent case manager.
