Saunders serves as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Trust for the National Mall and has spent the past fifteen years leading nonprofit fundraising efforts with a heavy focus on relationship building through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship with individual, corporate, and foundation funders. Stephen is passionate and enthusiastic about philanthropy work because of the joy of giving experienced by philanthropists – that spark when they know their gift is advancing their passions. Stephen, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), holds degrees from Marshall University in business and political science.
