Saul Anuzis -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Saul Anuzis is a Principal at Coast to Coast Strategies, LLC, which provides strategic planning, political intelligence, political risk assessment, political consulting and business development services to clients across the United States and internationally.

He also serves as President of 60 Plus, the American Association of Senior Citizens. 60 Plus is an NGO that represents senior citizens as one of America’s largest voting blocs, both nationally and in state capitals on issues from a conservative perspective.  It is considered the conservative alternative to AARP.

 

He previously served as Michigan Republican Party chairman from 2005 until 2009 and was a candidate for Chairman of the Republican National Committee in 2009 and 2011. From 2010 until 2012, Anuzis was Michigan’ s National Committeeman on the Republican National Committee.

His extensive political, governmental and diplomatic experience includes working with Newt Gingrich at American Solutions, Jack Kemp’s 1988 Presidential Campaign, a consultant for the U.S. House Republican Policy Committee, as Senior Adviser to U.S. Senator Ted Cruz during the 2016 presidential campaign, Chief of Staff to the Senate Majority Leader in the Michigan Legislature, Chairman of the Michigan Republican Senate Campaign Committee, Gubernatorial Appointee to the Michigan Export Development Board, Honorary Consul for the Republic of Lithuania and serves on the National Rifle Association Board’s Public Affairs Committee.

For the Republican National Committee, he was chairman of the Committee on Technology under the party chairmanships of Michael Steele and Reince Priebus. Anuzis was also Deputy Permanent Co-Chairman of the 2012 Republican National Convention and a delegate from Michigan to the 1980, 1984, 2012 and 2016 Republican National Conventions.

Anuzis studied economics at the University of Michigan at Dearborn. He is married to Lina Alksninis Anuzis. Together, they have four sons.
