Marie Smith, Founder and Director of the Parliamentary Network for Critical Issues (PNCI) as one of six recipients of the 2009 - 2010 Life Prizes awards totaling $600,000.
In the midst of a global pro-abortion agenda, Marie Smith has made it her mission to identify, unite, and strategize with pro-life groups, lawmakers, and religious leaders to advance respect for life in law and policy. In her work with PNCI, a non-partisan global outreach of Gospel of Life Ministries, she has worked to protect children in the womb and their mothers from the violence of abortion. Marie has previously worked with Life Issues Institute to advance the international pro-life message. Prior to her with PNCI, Marie also championed pro-life, pro-woman policies throughout the world as Feminists for Life's International Director and is now among the six recipients of $600,000 in prizes awarded for achieving significant progress in promoting the sanctity of human life and working to protect and preserve it.
