Katie Pavlich -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Journalist Katie Pavlich arrived on the political scene in Washington DC in 2010 ready to challenge the status quo. As news editor for Townhall.com and a contributing editor to Townhall Magazine, Pavlich has focused attention on topics that many inside the beltway would rather forget or ignore such as illegal immigration, bias in education and the Second Amendment. She has shared her conservative perspective on multiple media venues including, Fox News, MSNBC and Fox Business, in addition to a host of national and local radio shows. Pavlich’s deep love of the outdoors and respect for firearms are rooted in the formative experiences of growing up in the mountains of northern Arizona, rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, and hunting big game with her father in the forests and deserts that Barry Goldwater called home. She is also the author of the New York Times Best Seller Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-Upand a graduate of the University of Arizona.
