Pooja Bachani Di Giovanna works with Executive Director Maureen Tobin and Pepperdine School of Public Policy's new panel of trainers to help promote and coordinate training opportunities, identify participants and partners for certificate offerings, and foster relationships with potential hosts and strategic partners with an eye to new programming. She also serves on the Board of Directors at the National Steinbeck Center. Previously, she worked in Washington D.C. in communications, advocacy, and partner relations. Pooja has served as Social Media Manager at Alliance Defending Freedom, Director of Communications at Young Americans for Liberty, and as Assistant Director at the Institute for the Study of Democracy and Liberalism at Long Island University. She has a Masters degree in English Education from Long Island University, a Masters in English Literature and Literary Theory from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and Bachelors degrees in English and Philosophy from Boston University.
