Holly Robichaud -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Holly Robichaud has over 25 years of experience in managing campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels.  She has worked with the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

 

Over fifteen years ago, Holly started her own political consulting firm, Tuesday Associates, specializing in campaign strategy, earned media, direct mail, voter contact programs, and fundraising.  As a fund-raiser Holly has set records for statewide, Congressional and local campaigns, and Political Action Committees.

 

Holly’s campaign efforts have received national recognition.  In 1998, she was selected as a “Rising Star” by Campaigns & Elections magazine.  In 2010 she received a prestigious Reed Award from Campaigns & Elections for innovative designs of campaign literature and a Pollie Award from the American Association of Political Consultants.  She has also been named to Aristotle’s National Republican Dream Team.  For her 2012 campaign efforts, she received another three Pollie Awards which are the Oscars of the political world.

 

Holly has an impressive winning record.  Her victories range from Mayor to statewide ballot initiatives to Constitutional offices from Wyoming to Massachusetts.  In 2006, the year of the Democrat surge, she was the only consultant to win a seat for the Republican Party in the northeast.  Focusing on voter analysis and GOTV strategy Holly holds the record for having never lost a Special Election in the state of Massachusetts.  In each case her clients overcame a 3 to 1 disadvantage in party registration.  In the ultimate test of her skills, one client overcame a 5 to 1 disadvantage.

 

During the 2010 election season, a devastating year for Massachusetts Republicans, Holly was the strategist who defeated one of the state’s most well-known and long-term urban Democrats.  Her cutting edge voter contact program was credited by the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and a multitude of radio and television stations for this upset victory.  In fact, her marketing was called “brilliant” by numerous media outlets.

 

Holly is also known as one of the most effective public relations strategists.  She specializes in developing and implementing communications plans that deliver results.

A frequent lecturer on politics and campaigns, she has been a political analyst on FOX News, New England Cable News, and numerous radio stations.  Moreover, Holly has been quoted in publications such as Chicago Tribune, Human Events, Los Angeles Times and numerous other publications across the country for her expertise on campaign strategies.  

 

Holly has worked in 29 states and trained GOP candidates in 30 states.  Presently, Holly is an instructor for several campaign schools including the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), American Medical Association, the Leadership Institute, and Winning Campaigns magazine.  As the lead trainer for NFRW, her efforts have produced hundreds of winners.  Her campaign schools focus on messaging, tactics, targeting, earned media, grassroots organizing, fundraising, voter contact, new media and GOTV.

 

In 1988, Holly was elected to the Massachusetts Republican State Committee, defeating a 20-year incumbent.  When elected she was the youngest woman ever to hold that post.  In her home state of Massachusetts, she has served as Chief of Staff for the House Republican Leader’s office and worked as Research Director for the State Treasurer.
