Ross Hougham -  Volunteer Faculty at the Leadership Institute

Ross Hougham oversees student programs at The Heritage Foundation, including the Young Leaders Program internship, The Academy, and others. In this role, he identifies, trains, and cultivates strategic contributors to the conservative talent pipeline. A native of California, he was initially drawn East to be a fellow of the John Jay Institute. After early experiences with nonprofits working on religious freedom and prison reform, Ross settled at Heritage in 2019.

 

Ross was a political science major at UCLA and earned graduate degrees in public administration and Western European history from the University of Southern California and University of Oxford. He resides in Virginia with his lovely wife, baby boy, and golden retriever, Buckley.
