Daniel Whitfield -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Dan is a novelist and multi-award winning copywriter who lives in St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife and three daughters.

For the last eleven years, Dan has worked at Eberle Associates, during which time he has raised of tens of millions of dollars for a wide variety of groups and candidates using effective passionate messaging. He has authored fund appeals for congressional candidates, retired military officers, and stars of the stage and screen.

A native of Birmingham, England, Dan moved to the United States in 2005, the year he graduated from the University of Nottingham. He spent two years completing his Master’s Degree in History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, during which time he taught a variety of classes to undergraduate students as a Teaching Assistant.

In 2007 Dan moved to Washington, DC, and began working for the Leadership Institute, a leading educational foundation, where he was responsible for grassroots and Congressional outreach. He joined Eberle Associates in 2010 following a brief stint working for a leading transatlantic trade association.

As a communications specialist, Dan has lectured to students across the United States on such topics as effective messaging, direct marketing, and political history. Widely published, his writings have appeared in the Washington Times, the Daily Caller, the American Thinker, Menzies House, and Freedom Today. His debut novel, Eagle Ascending, was published by TouchPoint Press in 2021. He follow-up novel, The Spider’s Revenge, will be released in 2023.
