Angel Fimbres Barceló -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Angel is the Political and Fundraising Training Director at the Leadership Institute.  In addition to overseeing trainings for both political and fundraising divisions, she develops and manages the Leadership Institute's Future Candidate School, Campaign Management School and Comprehensive Fundraising trainings and workshops for conservative activists.  Angel identifies and recruits outstanding faculty who have successfully implemented campaign programs and fundraising projects for winning conservative campaigns.

Prior to joining the Leadership Institute, Angel worked first as a Field Representative on a congressional campaign and later as a Volunteer Coordinator on a state senate race.  

In 2012, she herself ran for office with her name on the ballot and was successfully elected as a District Representative for the Ventura County Republican Party.  Angel also served as a Scheduler at the US Chamber of Commerce and as an Intern for House Armed Services Committee Chairman Howard "Buck" McKeon on Capitol Hill.  She also possesses experience in executive administration, and constituent affairs.

Angel is originally from Ventura County, California and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University Channel Islands.
