Calvin Blaylock currently serves the Leadership Institute (LI) as the Donor Relations Officer for the Northeast.
Spending half of his life in Virginia and half in Missouri, Calvin likes to think that he serendipitously combines Midwestern values with East Coast ambition.
He is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri, where he studied Marketing and Public Service. Because of his academic excellence, leadership on campus, and promising professional trajectory, the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership society named Calvin as one of the top 14 students in the university’s class of 2018.
Calvin was routinely the only student in his college courses to defend the conservative philosophies of individual liberty, limited government, and traditional moral values. Admiring how the Leadership Institute equips conservative students, activists, and leaders with the skills to advance their principles, Calvin joined LI’s donor relations team in September 2018.
In his free time, Calvin enjoys competing in volleyball and flag football, being involved with Capitol Hill Baptist Church and International Justice Mission, and playing guitar and violin. His fundraising influences include Founding Father Robert Morris, conservative fundraiser John Von Kannon, and the apostle Paul.
