The Introduction to HTML/CSS Workshop will teach you the foundations of HTML and CSS. No previous coding or technical experience is necessary.

This fun, hands-on workshop is designed with communications, creative, marketing, and PR staff in mind. You'll learn:
  • what HTML and CSS are, the role they play on the web, and how you're already relying on these languages every day;

  • how to get up and running with HTML and CSS, complete with two hands-on projects;

  • practical applications for HTML and CSS tags; and,

  • how, and when, to use CSS stylesheets and in-line CSS.

Deputy Director of Digital Training, Leadership Institute

Stephen Rowe is the Deputy Director of Digital Training where he trains thousands on digital and political technology across the country. Stephen is also a contributor for Campus Reform.

Before joining LI, Stephen was the Editor-in-Chief of Turning Point USA's Hypeline where he executed its start-up, website re-design and achieved over 12 million page views in one calendar year.

In 2017, he was named to The Washington Examiner's "30 Under 30" list of the nation's most influential young conservatives.

Rowe has managed digital communications for a former congressman, non-profits and candidates for public office. His work has been featured on Fox News, Fox Business, The Blaze, The Daily Caller, The Washington Times, Young Conservatives, Townhall, Breitbart, and The Daily Wire.

Stephen grew up in Montana, the "Treasure State".
