Attending the Youth Leadership School was enriching and empowering. It provided a robust foundation for me to develop my young career in conservative politics. I would highly recommend to any individual seeking to take the next step in their political career.

Lee Jackson

Lee Jackson

Political Director, Bruce Poliquin for Congress

The Youth Leadership School really took my political career to the next level. Without the people I met and the lessons I learned in the YLS, I wouldn't be where I am today.

Daniel Weldon

Daniel Weldon

Youth Director, Keith Perry, FL State Senator

The YLS is a vital training for anyone in conservative politics. It helped me grow the movement on my campus and get a Youth Director position with a campaign.

Samuel Mariscal

Regional Field Coordinator

Sam Mariscal is the Leadership Institute's Regional Field Coordinator for Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. Originally from California, Sam attended Ashland University's Ashbrook Center, in Ashland Ohio, where he majored in Political Philosophy and History.

No stranger to activism, while in school he served two terms as president of Ashland University College Republicans. During his time there he assisted in the election of several officials while balancing his duties as a student and chapter president.

One of Samuel's major accomplishments was doing philanthropy work by helping raise funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ohio. Sam was motivated to enter politics thanks to the inspiration of his professors: Dr. Stephen Tootle and Dr. Peter Schramm.
