What you will learn

Television Techniques (Part 1): Professional On-Camera Techniques
*at the State Policy Network Annual Meeting

Prepare to look and sound your best at your next on-camera appearance!

Experienced Leadership Institute faculty will teach you the fundamentals for a successful television interview—how to develop your talking points, tackle difficult questions, and present yourself on camera.

Class size is limited, so pre-registration is highly encouraged to guarantee a spot. Don't forget to sign up to attend Part 2, where you can volunteer for on-camera practice and get personalized feedback.

To attend this event, you must be registered for the State Policy Network Annual Meeting (SPNAM).

What graduates say

Kevin Lundberg

Kevin Lundberg

"The leadership Institute's hands-on approach was a valuable introduction to the rapid-fire interviews of broadcast journalism. LI gave me some of the tools I needed to adjust to this pressure cooker side of politics."
