Rachel Kopec is Coalitions Manager for State Policy Network, developing relationships with D.C.-based organizations in order to promote state-focused strategies. Prior to joining SPN, Rachel participated in The Heritage Foundation's summer internship program and worked in Coalition Relations, where she developed her passion for the liberty movement and coalition building. She has varied public relations experience, interning in media relations for the Network of enlightened Women (NeW), a national organization dedicated to the education and leadership of conservative college women, in addition to working in public information at a sheriff's office and in marketing communication for an orthopedic implant company in Florida.
Rachel enjoys playing competitive beach volleyball, embarking on outdoor adventures, cheering on the Florida Gators and cooking for friends. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with a dual degree in public relations and political science.
