Mikayla Hall currently serves as Press Secretary to Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.
Originally from central Minnesota, she found “home” in Seattle and graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Communication and Political Science.
Prior to working on the Hill, Mikayla was actively involved in Young Americans for Liberty. She served as UW-Seattle chapter president, Washington State Chair, and the first Northwest Regional Director, overseeing ten states from the Dakotas to Alaska. In addition to her work for YAL, she was the College Republicans Vice President and a public speaking tutor.
She credits her involvement in politics to the Leadership Institute, who recruited the then pre-business major in 2008 to start a conservative student paper and group. After graduating, she worked as the organization’s Recruitment Intern for the Autumn 2011 semester.
