David Doud is the Founder and CEO of CandidateCheck. A former political candidate in Washington State, Doud started Candidate Check in 2010 when he realized—after the fact—that his political opponents had been hiding embarrassing background information from him and from Washington State voters. That experience convinced him to start CandidateCheck, to increase transparency in politics.
