Alyssa Condrey -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Alyssa Condrey is the Director of Programs for NeW. Alyssa graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA with a Bachelors of Business Administration. During her Junior year, she founded a NeW chapter at JMU and was President throughout her Senior year. In 2012, Alyssa won the Enlightened Woman of the Year Award at the NeW National Conference.

 

After graduating, Alyssa moved to DC to intern for the Heritage Foundation in the Young Leaders Program. There, she assisted with the internship program and coordination of internal briefings. After her internship, Alyssa served as the Career Services Coordinator and Intern Coordinator for the Leadership Institute in Arlington, VA. Her favorite book on the NeW book list is What Our Mothers Didn’t Tell Us: Why Happiness Eludes the Modern Woman by Danielle Crittenden, which is the first book the JMU chapter read.
