Phil Watson is the director of special projects at the Second Amendment Foundation, a reporter and editor for TheGunMag, and executive director for the International Association for the Protection of Civilian Arms Rights.

Before venturing into politics Phil helped successfully run several businesses. He later went to work on local legislative and congressional campaigns before interning with the Arlington, VA-based Leadership Institute and US Congress.

Recently he rallied 24 gun rights groups from 16 different countries to oppose and lobby against the UN Arms Trade Treaty. His project "Meet the Mayors" gained national recognition in highlighting the hypocrisy of Mayor Michal Bloomberg's Mayor's Against Illegal Guns.

Phil also appears frequently in media interviews and public gatherings in support of Second Amendment rights. His online debate against state Senator Adam Kline is the second most watched debate in the history of the Seattle Times.

Phil was born and raised in Lakewood, Washington. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and is a veteran of the Army Reserves.
