Terry Camp -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Terry is currently working as a Legislative Staff Assistant on the Senate Judiciary Committee under Senator Orrin Hatch, where he helps with office correspondence and legislative research. A native of Hyde Park, Utah, Terry have been involved in politics at the local, state and federal level. Terry graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. While studying at Utah State, Terry interned for Congressman Rob Bishop (UT-01). Following his internship in Washington D.C., Terry returned to Utah State and served for a year as Chairman of the Utah State University chapter of College Republicans. Following his time as Chairman of the College Republicans, Terry volunteered as a Field Representative for the Leadership Institute in Utah. During his time with LI, Terry helped conservative student organizations recruit new members, host events, and put together campus activism projects. Upon graduating from Utah State, Terry worked as a campaign staffer over four northern Utah counties for Senator Hatch’s successful 2012 reelection bid. While working for the Hatch campaign, Terry served as a Legislative District Co-Chair for the Cache County Republican Party, and was selected as one of six Presidential Electors for the State of Utah. Following the 2012 Utah Republican primary, Terry was hired as a Staff Assistant in Senator Hatch's Washington, D.C. office. Terry now lives with his wife, Kayla, in Arlington, Virginia, and is serving as Secretary of the Arlington/Falls Church Young Republicans.  Terry currently attends George Mason University, where is he pursing a Master’s Degree in Public Policy.
