Terry Camp

Terry is currently working as a Staff Assistant in the Office of United States Senator Orrin Hatch, where he helps with office correspondence, constituent services, and staff projects.

A native Utahn, from Hyde Park (Near Logan), Terry have been involved in politics at the campus, local, state and federal level. Terry recently worked for Senator Orrin Hatch’s successful reelection campaign during the 2012 election cycle. Terry worked as an Area Captain over the northern part of Utah, including Cache, Box Elder, Rich and Morgan County.

Terry interned for Congressman Rob Bishop (UT-01) as a junior at Utah State. Following his internship in Washington D.C., he returned to Utah State and served for a year as Chairman of the Utah State University chapter of College Republicans.

After his time as Chairman of the College Republicans, Terry volunteered as a Field Representative for the Leadership Institute in Utah. During his time with LI, Terry helped student organizations organize and recruit new members, host events, and put together campus activism projects.

Terry has also recently served as a Legislative District Co-Chair for the Cache County Republican Party, and was an ex-oficio delegate to both the 2012 Cache County and Utah State Republican Convention. He was also elected as one of six Presidential Electors for the State of Utah, during the 2012 Presidential Election.

Terry graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science from Utah State University in Logan, Utah.
Terry currently attends George Mason University in Arlington, VA, where is he pursing a Master’s Degree in Public Policy.
