Jennifer Stovall -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Jen Stovall recently joined the events team at the Leadership Institute after working for a member of Congress from California.  Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Jen was recruited to join Microsoft’s newly formed political technology team as Senior Manager of Campaign Cloud powered by Microsoft.  She originally joined the Conservative/Liberty movement here in Washington, DC with the Leadership Institute as a Regional Field Coordinator and Lecturer, where she was responsible for identifying, recruiting and training liberty minded leaders, activists and groups throughout the country. 

Jen earned B.S. degrees in Economics and Statistics and a B.A. degree in Speech Communications from the University of Nevada, during which she was the president of her sorority, captain of the varsity equestrian team, a Student Ambassador and Homecoming Queen.   Jen entered and won her first pageant as the Nevada State Fair Queen and she has competed in and held many local and state level titles, along with being a national finalist at the Miss Young America pageant, which launched Jen into image consulting and producing.

Along with pageantry, Jen worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as well as spent countless hours working her family’s ranch and local rodeo company.  She has enjoyed working winters at Squaw Valley USA Ski Resort, both on and off the mountain.  Besides sports, Jen enjoys showing horses, camping, wakeboarding, public policy, fashion, and entertainment and has worked in numerous radio and television markets, along with speaking at conservative and liberty focused events throughout the country.  

Jen’s political experience also includes working on several presidential, congressional and gubernatorial campaigns, starting with her first mayoral campaign at the age of 14.   Jen served as the National Committeewoman for the Young Republican Federation of Nevada and is a member of the Association of Political Consultants, Junior League of Washington DC, Ladies America, DC Young Republicans, Ladies of Liberty Alliance and She-PAC.  She is on the DCA Honor Flight board, an organization that brings WWII Veterans to Washington, DC to visit their memorial, and was part of the crew that “stormed” the WWII Memorial when it was closed to the public during the 2013 federal government shut down.  Jen is a host and assistant producer of DC Hot Spots on The CW; which covers social and political events on Capitol Hill and is currently nominated for The Hill's 50 Most Beautiful People.
