As a teenager, Nicolee aspired to attend both The Johns Hopkins University and The Peabody Conservatory of Music. She was admitted to both schools and while pursuing her studies, Nicolee fell in love with Maryland and planted her forever roots here.

After earning three degrees in under six years, Nicolee entered the workforce in Towson and took an interest in community affairs, specifically matters affecting children, education, and kitchen table issues such as affordability.
Nicolee has dedicated much of her volunteer time to building a two-party system for Marylanders to have real options in choosing elected officials who believe public service exists to represent the people.

As the National Chairman of the Young Republicans and the Maryland Young Republicans, Nicolee showcased the state and Maryland’s unique role in creating the United States.

Of all positions she has held, Nicolee is most proud that she was the Room Mom for each of her children’s elementary school classrooms from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Nicolee also served as Vice President of the Cromwell Valley PTA, a magnet school in Baltimore County, and worked side-by-side with fellow parents who stopped former Baltimore County Public School Superintendent Dallas Dance from shuttering many of Baltimore County’s school choice options.

Nicolee has served as a Baltimore Commissioner for Architectural and Historical Preservation, a board member of the American Council for Young Political Leaders, and as the Secretary of the Maryland State Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Currently, Nicolee is President of a charity serving those who have lost a child to violence.

Professionally, Nicolee owns her own small business. Until declaring her Congressional run, Nicolee has been a FOX News Radio Political Analyst, and she’s been a representative of the U.S. Department of State’s Speakers Bureau, where she has been deployed to key allied nations to address current affairs. Nicolee served as the Spokesperson for the Coalition to Stop Genocide in Burma, which was recently declared a “genocide.”

Previously, Nicolee was vice president of both a labor and employment law firm, as well as a Fortune 500 membership association. From 2002 through 2008, Nicolee served as a presidential appointee for George W. Bush at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment Standards Administration (DOL). She handled management issues relating to financial management, human resources, contracting, and oversight of programs for DOL’s largest agency. Key policy and regulatory issues handled included serving as Executive Editor of the 2007 Family and Medical Leave Act Update, and many other regulatory issues affecting America’s workplaces and the American worker.

Nicolee simultaneously attended The Johns Hopkins University, where she received a B.A. in International Relations, and the Peabody Conservatory of Music, where she received a B.M. in vocal performance. Nicolee graduated with Honors, and The Baltimore Sun called Nicolee the most inspiring graduate of her Johns Hopkins class. She then earned an M.M. summa cum laude at Arizona State University. Upon earning her Masters degree, Nicolee was eager to return to Maryland where she has lived in the Baltimore area ever since.

Nicolee is a single mother and lives in Baltimore with her children.
