Michael Sandez -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Michael M. Sandez is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of San Diego, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science in 1980. In 1983, he obtained his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.  As a practicing attorney in California, USA, he has emphasized real estate law, business law, civil litigation, and real estate errors and omissions and title insurance law.  He designed and taught a university level paralegal program and served on the Board of Directors for a Christian based public interest law firm.  Attorney Sandez briefly served as a commissioner on the City of San Diego's Equal Opportunity Commission, and has represented candidates for public office. A Christian for 37 years, he has served in ministry outreaches to prisoners, the homeless, and the business and legal communities, and has lectured on various topics in Asia and Latin America.  As a Professor of U.S. law, he taught for 3 years at Handong International Law School in South Korea, and for 1 and ½ years at Trinity Law School in California.  In July 2007 Mr. Sandez obtained a Certificate for studies at the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.
