Erin Anderson

A native of Texas and the Houston area, Erin first got involved in grassroots activism in 2009 via the Tea Party movement, and later joined the True the Vote initiative to ensure election integrity.

Erin worked at True the Vote’s first Election Day command center in 2010, supporting poll workers throughout Harris County.  In 2011 she helped organize a sister organization’s first Legislative Advocacy efforts, working with legislators on 22 specific Election Code reforms, 6 of which became law – including Voter ID.

In 2012, Erin became a staff member with True the Vote, applying her experience as a former teacher and legal assistant to coordinate with True the Vote leaders and volunteers in several states, speak to groups about election integrity, and prepare for Texas’ next legislative session.
