Liberty Linked partner, Anita MonCrief is an advisory board member of True the Vote and is the Editor-in-Chief of Emerging Corruption, but she is best known as the ACORN/Project Vote Whistleblower.

Anita attended the University of Alabama where she majored in political science and history and was one of the founding members of the Alabama Model United Nations.

Anita began her advocacy and human rights career as intern for the American Bar Association Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (ABA CEELI), where she assisted with the creation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights Assessment Index. In 2002, Anita partnered with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe on their mission to Macedonia as an election observer. She has also worked with the International Crisis Group and the Grameen Foundation. In 2005, Anita joined the Strategic Writing and Research Department of ACORN Political Operations and its affiliate Project Vote.

In 2008 she came forward as the confidential source of the New York Times and then publicly to expose the damage that ACORN has done to the impoverished and marginalized communities, as well as its rampant voter fraud, and gained notoriety as the ACORN whistle blower. She also began to blog about fraud within the ACORN/Project Vote network of corporations.

In June 2009, Project Vote/ACORN filed a lawsuit in an attempt to silence her. But Anita has appeared on numerous radio and television programs including The O’Reilly Factor, The Laura Ingraham Show, The Sean Hannity Radio show and Fox News programs. In March 2010, the ACORN/Project Vote lawsuit was dismissed. Anita is a regular contributor to Big Government, RedState, Hot Air, NetRight Daily, NewsReal Blog and other Conservative news websites.

MonCrief learned the intricacies of Community Organizing and she is helping Americans fight fire with fire.

MonCrief travels around the country to discuss how the movement can benefit from what she experienced on the other side of the fence. She insists that it's extremely important to be able to understand the tactics used by community organizers.

MonCrief is warning her trainees what to look for when dealing with the opposition; it plays dirty and doesn't much care for playing by the rules if breaking them will lead to victory.

In her training sessions, MonCrief is able to tap into these examples of gross injustices on the part of establishments like a free press that should be in place to hold groups accountable that pose threats
