Erik Hower

Erik Hower

Erik Hower currently serves as the Executive Director of Public Affairs for AT&T, the world’s largest communications company, where he manages public policy advocacy directed at Congress, the FCC and other policy makers. 

Mr. Hower has an extensive political background, having served on campaign staffs in Delaware, Louisiana, Iowa and Virginia.  He was the youngest campaign manager in the country for a nationally targeted race in 2000, managing the Delaware Gubernatorial campaign.  Following the campaign, he served as Senior Project Manager at VeriSign, an internet infrastructure and security company.

From 2004-2006, serving as a Director at DCI Group, Erik managed state and federal public affairs for multiple Fortune 50 companies.

Erik serves as the Development Chairman on the Board of Directors at Food & Friends, a non-profit organization that prepares, packages and delivers meals and groceries to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses throughout the Washington, DC area.  He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and currently lives in Oak Hill, VA with his wife Cara.
