January 13, 2011, Arlington, VA—The Leadership Institute trained Organize4Palin’s Grassroots Manager Karen Allen in public speaking, activism, and campaign management. Read on for her personal testimony.
"The training exceeded my expectations. What I really liked was that there was not just 'how to campaign' information taught, but 'how to think' information as well. The way the course was ordered, the expertise of the speakers, and the efficiency of everything was impressive. On top of it, with the living and eating arrangements taken care of so well, I didn't have to worry about anything other than studying. It is a highly effective set up," Ms. Allen said.
"I feel so much more prepared and empowered after visiting LI. I know I still have a lot to learn, but attending has made it so much easier to recognize and avoid a lot of pitfalls."
