John Shosky
John Shosky is the President of Roncalli Communications in Alexandria, VA.
For over 28 years Dr. John Shosky has been a professional speechwriter, coach and trainer. He has written more than 2800 speeches, roughly seven million words, on the public record. John served in the Reagan, Bush (41) and Bush (43) Administrations. He worked in the Executive Office of the President, White House Public Affairs, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Dr. Shosky also has worked for clients in the private sector, primarily with top executives of Fortune 500 companies.
Shosky has more than 70 articles published on topics in public speaking, logic, health care, history and philosophy. He has also edited three books, plus authored Speaking to Lead and The Words of Our Time.
In his spare time, Shosky has taught courses at American University, George Mason University, and Charles IV University in Prague. He has occasionally been a visiting fellow in the Institute of Logic in the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is also a visiting senior member at Linacre College in the University of Oxford.
