Steve Forbes is President and Chief Executive Officer of Forbes and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes magazine.

Mr. Forbes assumed his position in 1990. Since then, Forbes has expanded, launching a variety of new publications and businesses.  They include Forbes ASAP, Forbes Global, and the Glider Technology Report.  In 1997, Forbes launched Forbes.com.

Mr. Forbes is also Chairman of the company’s American Heritage Division, and a regular contributor to each issue of Forbes Magazine.

He is also the author of A New Birth of Freedom.

It is no secret that the President of the Leadership Institute, Morton Blackwell in his capacity as Virginia’s National Committeeman, thought that our next speaker would be the best next President of the United States. 

In both 1996 and 2000, Mr. Forbes campaigned for the Republican nomination for the Presidency.  Key to his platform was a flat tax.  Mr. Forbes continues to promote this agenda.
