Eugene Delgaudio

Eugene Delgaudio is one of the most interesting, creative, and genuinely funny elected officials in America. Delguadio was first elected to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors in 1999, then re-elected in 2003 and 2007. Eugene Delgaudio is currently the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors’ Finance/Government Services Committee and serves on the Board’s Transportation/Land Use Committee. He represents Loudoun County on the Virginia Regional Transportation Association (VRTA), Northern Virginia Transportation Commission, Dulles Area Transportation Association (DATA), Route 28 Transportation Improvement District Commission, and Potomac Watershed Roundtable. Since 1981, Eugene Delgaudio has served as the President of Public Advocate of the US, a conservative non-profit organization which supports family values, limited government, and reduced taxation. In presenting Supervisor Delgaudio the “Guardian of Seniors’ Rights Award,” 60 Plus Association’s president, Jim Martin said, "Supervisor Delgaudio has consistently worked to reduce wasteful spending and opposed tax increases. I've observed politics for half-a-century. Nobody, but nobody surpasses Eugene Delgaudio in honesty and devotion to duty. He's one of the few who truly matches deed to rhetoric. Loudoun is lucky to have him."
