Internships in the Washington, D.C. area can provide an important springboard to launch a career in public policy, politics, or the media. Yet the high cost of living can be a roadblock to students with limited resources. That is why the Leadership Institute provides Free housing for all its interns!
With free housing at the Sacher Intern House, accepting an internship is affordable and easy.
Interns live in a comfortable home and safe neighborhood within walking distance of the Leadership Institute's Steven P.J. Wood Building and a metro stop.
The house is fully furnished, so interns only need to bring clothing and personal items.
Professional aspect
At the Leadership Institute we promise you more, because we expect more from you. Each intern is assigned to a particular department where he or she works each day.
Interns are given the resources to help them meet deadlines and obtain real work experience. Each intern is assigned to a dedicated work space fully equipped with a computer, phone, and office supplies.
