Holly Davis -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Holly Davis is the Vice President of Gauge Market Research, a political polling and services company she helped to found in 2007. In her role at Gauge, Holly concentrates her practice on political training and education. Some of the groups Holly has presented to include the Smart Girl Politics Annual Summit, Roche Diagnostics, the Indiana Republican State Convention, and the Leadership Institute’s Future Candidate and Campaign Management schools.

 

 Holly has spent a combined 10 years running the Richard G Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series and the Indiana Leadership Forum, both political education and training programs.

 

In 2010, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels recognized Holly with the Distinguished Hoosier Award , one of the highest awards given by the state of Indiana to its citizens. In both 2006 & 2007, Holly was named a finalist for the Indiana Women’s Commission’s Torchbearer Award, given to women who have forged new paths to make Indiana a better place to live, work and raise their families. In 2007, she was named a finalist in the Education and Non-profit category for Indy’s Best & Brightest. In 2009, the Indianapolis Business Journal named Holly to their annual “Forty under 40” list.

 

Holly earned Political Science and History degrees from Indiana University and received further training from the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University.  She recently moved to Seattle, Washington from the Washington DC area.
