Angela Struebing -  Former Guest Speaker at the Leadership Institute

Angela Struebing is Vice President of Client Services at The Lukens Company. She joined The Lukens Company in 2001 with a background in politics and master’s degree in political management from George Washington University. It soon became apparent her interests were . . . eclectic to say the least. Angela is a world-class world traveler – six continents in six years. She’s an adventurist, summiting Kilimanjaro without the aid of a Sherpa, and completing the 7-day long trek to Machu Picchu. She loves challenges. Like running the Marine Corp Marathon on a dare with less than three months training, or appearing as a contestant on The Weakest Link. She’s been a “seat filler” for four years at both the Emmys and the Oscars and in her spare time, she co-founded a non-profit, Next Step, to help young women advance their careers. She’s also a classically trained flautist.

Angela currently manages TLC’s client service operation. If you’re already a client, you know that means Angela is available literally 24-7. But she’s not the only one. She directs and supervises four non-profit teams, two political teams, the digital services group and the traffic and production group. She is responsible for the implementation of strategy for all accounts and for the coordination and integration of all marketing channels.

Angela graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University. In typical Angela fashion, she received two major degrees in environmental geology and economics and two minor degrees in art history and minority history. Talk about eclectic. She lives in Annandale, Virginia with her husband Steve and miniature dachshund Coco.
