Tyler Harber
Tyler Harber is a Managing Partner at Harden Global.
Harber has spent more than twelve years consulting for political and public affairs campaigns all over the world and is recognized as an expert communication and political strategist. He also has extensive training and experience in international and domestic quantitative and qualitative marketing and public opinion research, earning him a certification by the Market Research Association as a Professional Researcher (PRC). He has been similarly recognized by the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR) for his extensive qualifications and expertise of marketing and opinion research worldwide.
His experience and political campaign successes have earned Harber numerous profiles and awards. Campaigns and Elections Magazine named Harber one of the top 500 political influencers in the United States in 2012, two years after naming him a “Rising Star” in national politics writing that he “practices campaigns with military precision,” and is, “a strategist who has made his mark in political consulting.” Harber’s teams have earned dozens of awards for their work from the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC), Campaigns and Elections’ Reed Awards, and the Direct Marketing Association among others.
Harber has been tapped to provide continuous analysis for news outlets around the world including MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, CNN International, NPR, the New York Times, USA Today, The Hill, and the Washington Post. In addition to his punditry, Harber has taught campaign managers, activists, and candidates for the Republican National Committee and the Leadership Institute, as well as lectured on political science, campaign management, and public opinion research at George Washington University, American University, University of Tennessee, and Washington Adventist University.
Prior to joining Harden Global, Harber led the Prosper Group’s General Consulting and International Strategies division (a practice he moved in its entirety to Harden Global). He has also served as a pollster at two top Republican polling firms – Public Opinion Strategies and WPA Research Strategies (formerly Wilson Research Strategies ) – where he managed hundreds of quantitative and qualitative research projects for domestic and international political and public affairs clients.
Harber’s previous work experience also includes serving as a partner and research director for National Public Strategies, senior electioneer (political consultant) for Southern Political Group, and as campaign manager for dozens of candidates from school board to U.S. Senate.
His clients include candidates for some of the most competitive political races around the world. In the past decade, Harber’s domestic political clients include more than 200 congressional campaigns, more than three dozen U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races, and hundreds of down-ballot races.
Internationally, Harber is recognized as a highly sought-after asset. He has worked in two dozen countries including emerging democracies in Africa, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, and the Middle East; consulting on Presidential, Parliamentary and other high-level political races.
Harber works in Harden Global’s Washington, D.C. office and lives in Old Town Alexandria with his wife, daughter, and their beloved English bulldog.
