goldberg-jJonah Goldberg

Syndicated Columnist, Author, and Speaker

Jonah Goldberg is one of the most prominent young conservative journalists on the scene today and one of America’s most widely-read political columnists. Goldberg is a contributing editor to National Review, was the founding editor of National Review Online, and works as a contributor to FOX News. He is also weekly columnist for the Los Angeles Times and his syndicated column appears regularly in the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, San Francisco Chronicle, Kansas City Star, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Washington Examiner, Miami Herald, Manchester Union Leader and scores of other newspapers. Most recently, he was named a Visiting Fellow with the American Enterprise Institute. He is a member of the Atlantic 50 – the top 50 commentators in America, as well as a frequent panelist on Special Report with Bret Baier.

His first book, Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning (Random House/Doubleday) was a #1 New York Times and Amazon bestseller and remains the bestselling – and most controversial – new political book of 2008. “Those who value substance over words… will find in this book a wealth of challenging insights, backed up by thorough research and brilliant analysis,” raved Thomas Sowell. “This is the sort of book that challenges the fundamental assumptions of its time…Jonah Goldberg’s Liberal Fascism is too rich a book to be summarized in a newspaper column. Get a copy and start rethinking the received notions about who is on ‘the Left’ and who is on ‘the Right.’ It is a book for people who want to think, rather than repeat rhetoric.” Proud to Be Right: Voices of the Next Conservative Generation, came out in 2010, and The Tyranny of Cliches - How Liberals Cheat in the War of Ideas was released in May 2012.

Goldberg is currently a member of the Board of Contributors to USA Today. In the past he's served as a media critic for both Brill's Content and The American Enterprise and a Washington Columnist for the Times (of London). He has written about politics and culture for The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, The LA Times, Commentary, The Public Interest, The Wilson Quarterly, The Weekly Standard, Slate, TheStreet.com, New York Post, Women's Quarterly, and Food and Wine. Goldberg is a regular political commentator on CNN and has served as a guest host on Crossfire and as a regular panelist on Wolf Blitzer's Late Edition. Other television appearances include Good Morning America, Larry King Live, Today, Nightline, Hardball with Chris Matthews, Hannity & Colmes, The Daily Show, Real Time with Bill Maher, Special Report with Brit Hume, Geraldo, NBC Nightly News, and numerous other television and radio programs. He was senior producer of the award-winning series Think Tank with Ben Wattenberg on PBS.

He has written and produced several PBS documentaries and specials. A popular speaker on college campuses, Goldberg is proof that reading and thinking about political, media and cultural issues can be enlightening and entertaining at the same time. He is the 2001 winner of the prestigious Lowell Thomas Award.

Goldberg grew up in New York City. He is a graduate of Goucher College, where he was one of the first men to attend the formerly all-women's college. After Goucher, he taught English in Czechoslovakia and, later, was a researcher at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC where he currently resides. He is married to the author and speechwriter, Jessica Gavora. They have one daughter and one dog, Cosmo - the “it dog of the American Right.”

Steven Crowder

Fox News Contributor, Comedian, and Speaker

As “FoxNews’ brightest, funniest young Conservative mind,” Steven Crowder is a mainstay in the worlds of television, comedy and writing.  Before being brought in as one of FoxNews’ youngest contributors ever, Steven began his career in entertainment with acting and stand up comedy.

Beginning as a mere teenager, Steven performed in the major festivals and winning national talent competitions (including one on Myspace, remember that site?) all before he was old enough to legally consume a beer. Unsatisfied, Steven decided to take his brand of take-no-prisoners, politically incorrect, comedy-club-favorite humor… to the Internet. Quickly racking up tens of millions of views, Crowder was seen as somewhat of a conundrum. His irreverent, hilarious yet distinctly Conservative videos surprisingly went viral, resulting in him being thrust into the national spotlight of cable news and radio. You name the show, Crowder’s done it.

While still active in both television/film and comedy, Crowder is now most famously known as a Conservative lightening rod. As an entertainer, activist and commentator, Crowder’s trademark has become that of bravely entering the belly of the liberalism beast… without backing down. Be it television, the stage or the Internet, wherever Crowder goes, he continues to leave enlightenment, entertainment and controversy in his wake. Enjoy.
